You will receive a receipt upon checking out. Within 24 to 48 hours you will be e-mailed an Order Confirmation/Invoice for your order with a production tracking number. To view the current status of your order; enter this production tracking number on our homepage in the Order Status box (located in the red bar on the left hand side of the website). Once the order ships the UPS or Fedex tracking number be displayed and you will be able to track the shipment of your order using our UPS or FedEx integrated link.

How do I track my order?
The second email you receive, which is your Order Confirmation, contains your production tracking number. Enter your tracking number on our homepage in the order status box (located in the red bar on the left hand side of the website).

How do I find out the length of my sign? How long will it be?
We now have a preview tool that allows you to estimate the line length of the lettering you need. Once you find a font you like and a size in the shopping area, pick a color, install method, and type your copy in the text box then just click See sign color & length. Not yet available in all categories. These line lengths are approximate and may vary by 10% or more. If you need an exact line length; please contact our sales office via email (sales@buysignletters.com) or by telephone 772-581-8810.

I have a company logo or custom font what should I do?
Custom Logo
We do not do design work, we are a sign letter supply company and its up to the end user to provide an .eps or .ai vector file pc format for pricing and reproduction of a custom logo. Please contact our office to discuss the specifications of the logo, size, material, and finish needed. All custom logos or font requests are quoted within 24 business hours as long as the correct file formats have been provided. Our Minimum order amount on custom orders is $250. Some .pdf files can be converted to a .ai vector file depending on how it was created. We do not accept .jpg, .bmp, .pmg, .gif, .img, .png or any other flat image file type. We only accept vector art. Vector art is a outlines only format and we use that specific art file for cutting your sign letters. Click on the link if you need assistance creating a vector file.

Brass, Bronze, Copper, Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Acrylic materials

Custom Font
You will need to provide a .TTF font file pc format for reproduction of a custom font or you can send the .ai vector file of your lettering. To get a price add 10% to our standard fonts in the same size, thickness and material needed. Please contact our office to set up your order.

We only reproduce custom font orders in the following materials
Brass, Bronze, Copper, Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Acrylic materials

Can you rush orders?
Your best option to rush an order is to choose an expedited shipping service such as overnight or 2nd day shipping which will save you 3-4 days in shipping time. In some cases we can get an order out a day or so earlier than stated production times depending on the time of year and how busy the production facilities are. Some materials do ship quicker than others. Minnesota Letters are have the quickest production time (usually 1-2 days).

What are installation patterns?
Installation patterns should be used when utilizing the stud installation method.These patterns are templates that help you install your sign like a professional sign installer. Patterns will provide exact letter placement and ensure a perfect installation.

What height will my lowercase letters be?
Always order letters based on the height of the uppercase letters. The lowercase letters will be the corresponding height to go with the height of the uppercase letters (1/2 to 2/3 the height of the uppercase letter). Larger lowercase letters (i.e. bdfghklpqty) will be close to the same height as the uppercase letters but smaller lowercase (i.e. acemnorsuvwxz) will 1/2 to 2/3 the height of the uppercase letters.

How do I find out the prices of the items I want?
Click on the Price/Buy link below each item featured. Choose a font, size, and the letters you need. The letter sizes start with the smallest available. To access larger sizes, scroll to the bottom of the page where there are links to pages with other sizes. If you need a size that is not on the site, please contact us and we will be glad to check to see if the size is available in the product you are interested in.

Do you accept POs?
Sorry, due to the volume of sales and to give the best price possible we do not accept P.O.'s. Payment methods accepted are credit card or check.

How do I pay by check?
Place your order online, proceed to check out, fill in your shipping info and on the next page you will see the order confirmation page, click the link that says "click here to review your order or pay by check", send us that page with your check. Once received we will send you an order confirmation via e-mail.

What is meant by a lifetime guarantee?
Plastic Letters
If any letters break or fade, we will replace the defective letters for free. Exterior letters will get dirty. Varied climatic conditions may impact the letter finish. Therefore, some regular cleaning may be required. A good dish soap and water will help return the letters to their original luster.

Metal Letters
Should any metal letter finish fade or corrode, we will refinish at no charge. Some metal finishes do require regular maintenance to keep their original luster. Painted, satin and polished letters are clearcoated with a hardened polyurethane, similar to your car finish. This can be cleaned with a good dish soap and water. If the face gets scratched, a good car polish will also help bring back the original luster. Painted metal letters are double coated with a hardened acrylic polyurethane, and then oven baked.

This feature is pretty handy if you need to review past orders, get stored orders and save time when ordering, this feature will fill in shipping and billing info automatically.

Do Signs really work?
A sign placed in just the right place can generate a lot of business. A business with no sign is a sign of no business. All sign letters and numbers are sold individualy and are not connected to a background.

What if I don't order an Installation Pattern?
If you don't order an Installation Pattern when you initially place your order; you can only add an Installation Pattern to your order before it ships. An Installation Pattern cannot be done once the order has shipped because the studs are hand placed on the backs of the letters and we need the letters in order to prepare the Installation Pattern. A Plotted Drawing can be done after you have received your order. The Plotted Drawing is similar to an Installation Pattern but it does NOT have the stud placements marked. You will have to do this when you receive the Plotted Drawing. This can be done by screwing the studs into the backs of the letters and placing them onto the Plotted Drawing to mark the stud locations. You will need to contact our Sales Office to order the Plotted Drawing.
